Cork fabric

Cork fabric is made of laminated natural cork coupled on textile. This laminated cork may be coupled on several types of textile supports depending on the final usage, such as :

• PU Coagulated lining for footwear, leather goods and bookbinding
• Cotton/Polyester fabric for clothing
• Viscose/Polyester fabric for furnishing and upholstery applications
• PVC fabric for high frequency welding
• Nylon fabric for accessories like raincoats and umbrellas.

For upholstery, furnishing and garment industries we can make Teflon®.

Teflon® treatment makes cork fabric waterproof and stain repellent.
Treated cork fabric may be washed at 30° C.

We can also offer our cork fabric in flame retardant version for contract market.

The presentation of the product line is by roll of width 140 cm with a length of 50 linear meter. We may offer a wide range of patterns, designs and colours.

Inside this product line we may offer also fabric made of laminated natural fibres such as wheat straw, raffia, Florence fennel and leather.

Cork for wallcovering

Cork for wallcovering is made of a laminated natural cork coupled on nonwoven.

This covering is special because it is easy to be cut, apllied and removed; it is also a cleaner application comparing to the traditional wallpaper.

The presentation of the product line is in roll of width 100 cm with a lenght of 100 linear meter offered in a wide range of patterns,designs and colours.

Bark of the cork oak is used for cork, a unique biological material with remarkably unique qualities unmatched by any other natural material and difficult to replace by synthetics.

Cork stoppers, buoys and sandals have been found in archaeological sites that date as far back as ancient Egypt.
The Greeks first discovered that stripping cork from the tree produced a new, higher quality cork bark.

Cork isn’t only used to produce stoppers for premium wines.
